The Kamilaroi artist's works are made using a pigment he creates
from charcoal and rock remnants, foraged from campfires. To capture the subtleties of the charcoal marks and wide tonal range of his drawings, the work has been rendered through a half-tone dot, applying a contemporary
technology to the traditional
Kamilaroi motif - one which
describes moving water or a river.
